Now in early access for agencies

Know where your clients show up.And where they're missing.

Track Google rankings and AI visibility across your client portfolio. Find opportunities, compare competitors, and turn the evidence into clear next steps.

The challenge

Client visibility now lives in two places.

Clients still want to know where they rank on Google. More and more, they also ask whether ChatGPT or Perplexity recommends them. The two are measured differently: a ranking is a position on a results page, while an AI answer is generated text that may mention a brand, cite one of its pages, or do neither. It can also change from one run to the next.

Most agencies piece this together from rank trackers, manual prompt checks and screenshots. It's slow, hard to repeat each month and harder to explain to a client.

SignalRank brings both views into one workspace per client. It keeps each measurement separate and shows the evidence behind every number, so your team can see what changed and decide what to do next.

Search rankings
Where a client's pages appear in Google results for the keywords you track.
AI mentions
How often collected AI answers name the client, for the questions buyers ask.
Citations
Which web pages an AI answer links to as its sources, and whether any belong to the client.
Crawler access
Whether a client's site lets search engines and AI crawlers fetch its pages.
Referral traffic
Visits that arrive on the client's site from AI assistants, counted on the site itself.

Five different measurements, reported separately. None of them stands in for another.

Product

From tracking to next steps

One place to watch every client's search and AI visibility, see who is winning the answers, and decide what to work on.

01 Monitor

Monitor search and AI visibility side by side

Track Google positions for the keywords that matter and collect AI answers to the questions buyers ask. Each is measured on its own terms, so a ranking gain and a mention gain are never blended into one score.

  • Weekly Google positions for tracked keywords
  • Answers collected from several AI engines, with repeated samples
  • Mention rate shown with the number of answers behind it

02 Compare

Understand competitors and the sources AI relies on

See which competitors appear in the same answers and which pages those answers cite. When a competitor's guide or a directory listing keeps getting cited, you'll know where the client's gaps are.

  • Mention rate for the client and each tracked competitor
  • Cited domains grouped as owned, competitor, directory, review or news
  • Every cited link traceable back to the answer it came from

03 Act

Prioritize the work and report the progress

Findings from AI answers, rankings, Search Console and the site audit become one prioritized list of actions, each with its evidence. Mark one done and SignalRank checks whether the numbers moved. Then share a clear report with the client.

  • Actions ranked by impact, confidence and effort, with evidence attached
  • Follow-up measurement two and four weeks after the work ships
  • Client reports with a private share link, a PDF and your agency's logo

How agencies use it

A weekly rhythm, not a scramble

Set a client up once, then use the same three steps every week.

  1. 1

Add a client and define what to track

Enter the website, the competitors that matter and the questions and keywords buyers use. SignalRank can suggest a starting set from the site itself.

  2. 2

    Review visibility, sources and opportunities

Each week, see Google positions, AI mentions and citations for every client, with the answers and sources behind them and a prioritized list of actions.

  3. 3

Share progress and decide what to do next

Send a report the client can read in a few minutes, agree on priorities, and see whether finished work moved the numbers two and four weeks later.

Measurement

Every number shows its work

AI visibility is only useful if you can trust it and explain it. SignalRank is designed so anyone on your team, or your client, can trace a number back to the answers it came from.

The answers themselves
Every AI answer behind a metric is kept, so you can read exactly what an engine said about a client and its competitors.
Source links
The pages each answer cited are listed with the answer, labelled as owned, competitor or third-party.
Collection dates and method
Each answer records when it was collected, which engine produced it and how it was collected, such as an API with web search.
Sample sizes
Rates come with the number of answers they're based on and a confidence range, so small samples aren't mistaken for trends.

Questions, answered

More detail on pricing is on the pricing page.

How is AI visibility different from SEO rankings?

A search ranking is a position on a results page for a keyword. AI visibility describes what generated answers say: whether they mention a brand, recommend it, or cite one of its pages as a source.

The two often move together, but not always. SignalRank tracks them separately and reports them side by side rather than combining them into one score.

Which search engines and AI platforms are supported?

Search rankings are tracked in Google. The early-access version collects AI answers from ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity through their APIs with web search turned on, and can also check Google AI Overviews and AI Mode on Google results pages.

Answers collected through an API can differ from what someone sees in a consumer app, and every answer is labelled with how it was collected. Coverage may change before launch, and we'll confirm what's included when you join.

Can I manage multiple clients in one account?

Yes. SignalRank is built around an agency workspace with a separate setup for each client: its website, competitors, questions and keywords. You can compare clients from one portfolio view and invite teammates with different roles.

Why do AI answers change from one week to the next?

AI engines don't return the same answer every time, even to the same question. To reduce noise, SignalRank asks each question several times per engine and reports rates with their sample size and a confidence range. Small changes inside that range shouldn't be treated as a trend.

How does early access work?

Tell us about your agency and the clients you'd track, and we'll get in touch as we open places. We're onboarding a small number of teams at a time so we can support each one well. We haven't announced a general launch date.

What do client reports include?

A report covers the last week or the last four weeks. It shows how often AI answers mention, recommend and cite the client, how it compares with competitors, which questions it's winning or missing, and AI referral visits where tracking is set up. Reports can be shared with a private link or saved as a PDF, and they carry your agency's name and logo. Adding Google rankings and your recommended next steps to reports is planned.
